Flexoren

FLEXOREN is a fast and economical method for renewing gravity sewer pipelines. A flexible pipe, welded into a continuous length, is pulled into the old pipe through Ø1000 mm inspection manholes. Excavation is needed only at house connections that have no manhole. Traffic management poses no problems, and streets are closed only briefly. A sewer pipeline renovated using the FLEXOREN method is as good as new – watertight, load-bearing and corrosion-resistant. The low flow resistance of PE pipes compensates for the smaller diameter, and the higher flow velocity improves the self-cleansing capacity of the pipes.

Patented special-purpose pipe

The FLEXOREN pipe is a special pipe developed for renewing gravity sewer pipelines. Its strength comes from a corrugated PE outer layer, while TPE plastic gives it flexibility. The pipes are joined using a special circumferential welding technique.

Simple installation

FLEXOREN pipe is installed without disrupting traffic or everyday life. The road only needs to be closed temporarily at the manholes being repaired. On a 40–50 metre section, installing the pipe takes 1.5–2 hours.

A new type of pipeline

In terms of strength and flow characteristics, the FLEXOREN pipe meets the requirements set for plastic pipes. The annular space between the old and new pipes is filled with foamed concrete to prevent possible damage should the old pipeline collapse.
